For Mother’s Day, restaurants offered guests quiche and salmon. For Father’s Day, it will be more like beef and barbecue.

The holiday takes place June 19, and steakhouses will be having special menus, while casual chains are offering bonuses for gift card purchases around the holiday.

Applebee’s Grill & Bar: Customers who buy a $50 gift card can get a $10 bonus card. The offer is valid through June 26, and bonus cards expires Aug. 7. California Pizza Kitchen: Guests can buy one pizza, pasta or salad June 18-19 and get one free on their next visit. The offer is good for dine-in or take-out, according to a news release. Claim Jumper: There will be a Father’s Day buffet 10 a.m.-3 p.m., June 19 with omelet bar, pizza, pasta and carving stations, according to a Facebook post. The cost is $40, plus $15 for bottomless mimosas. North Italia: This pizza and pasta chain has Father’s Day gift card promotion. For every $100 in gift cards purchased online, customers will receive a $20 bonus card. Bonus cards are redeemable from June 20-July 20, according to a news release. northitalia.com
