Orange County firefighters were battling a multi-alarm fire at a commercial building in Buena Park on Saturday night, June 4, authorities said.
Firefighters were called to the 7600 block of Ninth Street, near Beach Boulevard, just before 8:10 p.m., Orange County Fire Authority spokesman Capt. Thanh Nguyen said.
Arriving firefighters found heavy smoke and fire at the rear of the building, the captain said.
Third alarm requested.

A brief video posted by the department showed flames on the exterior of a single-story building.
Firefighters from Anaheim and Fullerton fire departments were assisting with the blaze, Nguyen said.
“Crews are actively searching to make sure that the fire is not only knocked down, but also preventing it from spreading to adjacent businesses and confirming that everyone is evacuated,” Nguyen said.
Few details were immediately available. It wasn’t known if anyone was inside the building when the fire started.
The cause and origin of the fire was unknown.
