Home runs by Kyle Kim and Conor Sunderland and a three-run double by Nate Norman led Fullerton’s baseball team to a 10-6 win over Burroughs of Burbank in a Division V semifinal in the CIF SoCal Regional playoffs Thursday at Fullerton High.

Sunderland hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning and Kim hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning to break up a 2-2 tie.

Fullerton had a 7-6 lead in the sixth when Norman hit a three-run double to deep fly to center that missed clearing the outfield fence by a foot.

Matthew Carbajal pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief to get the win.

Fullerton (26-9) plays in the Division V final Saturday against the winner of Friday’s Moreno Valley-Tesoro semifinal. Fullerton is the home team Saturday if Moreno Valley wins. Tesoro, which defeated Fullerton in the CIF-SS Division 4 championship game two weeks ago, is the home team for the final if it wins.

In the Division III semifinals

Newport Harbor 8, Eastlake of Chula Vista 2: Sam DiCarlo pitched a complete game and freshman Elijah Hasted was 3 for 3 for the Sailors in their road win.

The Sailors (21-12) will play at Oaks Christian (23-11) in the final Saturday.

Newport Harbor lost to Oaks Christian 3-2 in the CIF-SS Division 3 semifinals May 17.

Lucas Perez and Joey Wright had two hits apiece for the Sailors. AJ Guitron-Moore drove in two runs, one on a safety squeeze, for Newport Harbor.

In the Division V semifinals

Estancia 4, Kennedy of Delano 3: Jack Moyer’s fourth-inning double drove in Andrew Mits with what would be the winning run for the Eagles.

Estancia (30-5) will play at home Saturday against the winner of Friday’s Baldwin Park-Anaheim semifinal.

Estancia trailed 3-0 going into its half of the third inning. James De La O’s single in the third drove in the first Eagles run and an error on the play allowed a second run to score. Cole Lefebvre’s single sent home the tying run.
