One person was found dead after firefighters put out a mobile home fire in Santa Ana Friday night, June 10, authorities said.
Orange County firefighters responded to the 5000 block of West McFadden Avenue just before 10:15 p.m. and found a mobile home well-involved with fire, spokesman Capt. Thanh Nguyen said.
Firefighters immediately started the fire attack and called in additional units to keep the fire from spreading to other homes, Nguyen said.
The blaze was doused in about 30 minutes, he said. Afterwards, firefighters found the dead person inside. No other injuries were reported.
Details about the victim, including age range and gender, were not immediately available.
Investigators continued to work on determining the cause and origin of the fire, Nguyen said.
