The woman arrested on Mother’s Day for suspicion of murdering her three preteen children in their San Fernando Valley home has a bail amount of $6 million.
A person described only as a “juvenile” also was arrested in the deaths, the LAPD reported. Police declined to release other information on that suspect, who Fox 11 said was the woman’s 16-year-old son.
Angela Dawn Flores, 38, was booked for suspicion of three counts of murder and was being held in lieu of the bail, said Officer Drake Madison, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Los Angeles police responded to a 911 call about an assault with a deadly weapon at a residence in the 22500 block of Victory Boulevard around 7:40 a.m. Sunday, LAPD Officer Matthew Cruz said.
Officers found a 12-year-old girl and her 8-year-old twin brothers unresponsive, said Officer D. Orris. Paramedics were called to the scene and determined the children were dead.

The mother was acting erratically the night before, CBS2 reported. An older child in the house woke up Sunday morning and found his siblings dead, then ran to a neighbor’s house for help.
Neighbors told Channel 2 the children’s mother was taken out of the house on a stretcher. Police questioned the woman during their investigation, and around 9:30 p.m., they arrested her, Orris said.
