On the heels of a co-headlining U.S. tour, Grammy-nominated pop star Paulina Rubio will head to Long Beach in July as one of the headliners for the Long Beach Pride Parade and Festival.
Long Beach Pride will return to the city from July 8 to 10, after being virtual the previous two years because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Rubio, who has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and is known as “La Chica Dorada” (“The Golden Girl”), will headline the Fiesta Caliente Stage on July 10.
Mexican singer joins previously announced headliners Iggy Azalea, who will perform on the Urban Soul Stage July 10, and Spanish-born singer Natalia Jimenez, performing on the Fiesta stage July 9.
Long Beach Pride, which began in 1984, traditionally attracts more than 75,000 people during the weekend. The city’s 37th festival and parade will kick off with a Teen Pride celebration on July 8, and then continue with a two-day waterfront music festival on July 9 and 10. The parade will also take place on July 10.
Rubio was previously on a U.S. tour with fellow Mexican singer Alejandra Guzman, which wrapped up earlier this month.
