The JSerra, Estancia and Tesoro baseball teams will try to add another title to their season highlights in the CIF Southern California Regional Championships that begin Tuesday.

JSerra, the CIF Southern Section Division 1 champion, plays at home Tuesday against Granite Hills of El Cajon in the first round of the Division I playoffs.

CIF-SS Division 4 champion Tesoro is home Tuesday against Mission Bay of San Diego in the Division IV first round.

CIF-SS Division 6 champion Estancia is home against Mendez of Los Angeles in the Division V first round.

JSerra, Estancia and Tesoro are top-seeded in their divisions, guaranteeing them home games for the duration of the regional playoffs.

JSerra won the Division I championship last year. Granite Hills was last year’s Division III champion.

Teams that advanced to the semifinals of the CIF-SS Divisions 1-3 playoffs qualified for the regional playoffs. Finalists in CIF-SS Divisions 4-6 also qualified.

CIF-SS Division 1 semifinalists Huntington Beach and Villa Park are in the Division I playoffs. CIF-SS Division 3 semifinalist Newport Harbor is in the Division III playoffs.

CIF-SS Division 4 finalist Fullerton and CIF-SS Division 6 finalist Anaheim are also in the regional playoffs.

All regional first-round games are Tuesday at 4 p.m. The tournament continues with semifinals Thursday at 4  p.m. and concludes with finals Saturday at 4 p.m. Games are at sites selected by the home teams, so most of them will be at on-campus fields.

The higher-seeded team is the home team through all three rounds of the playoffs.

Spectator admission for the first two rounds is $9 for adults and $5 for students and children. That increases to $12 and $8 for the finals.
