Comedian Dave Chappelle was rushed onstage and tackled while performing at the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday night, with the attacker taken away by paramedics after security and onlookers intervened against him, ABC7 reported.
A witness said Chappelle had earlier commented he needed more security because of his controversial remarks about the transgender community.
It appeared Chappelle was uninjured, ABC7 reported.
The identity of the man who rushed Chappelle wasn’t immediately known.
