After surprising fans with a set in the Mojave Tent during weekend one of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio last month, indie rock band Arcade Fire dropped its sixth album, “We,” on May 6 and announced its fall world tour.
The band will kick off its North American run on Oct. 28 in Washington, DC and wind up at The Kia Forum in Inglewood on Nov. 16 with Beck performing an acoustic set as the opener. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. May 13 at Ticketmaster.com.
So far, the band has released two singles from the album including “The Lightning I, II” and “Unconditional I (Lookout Kid).” Arcade Fire is also the musical guest this week on “Saturday Night Live,” marking its fifth appearance on the show.
