Tucked in at the bend of a path or an opening in the trees, artists painted the natural scenes before them.
The Environmental Nature Center opened its grounds on Tuesday, April 5, to painters. It was the last of four painting days for members of the SoCal Plein Air Painters Association before an upcoming fundraiser in which their pieces will be for sale.

The Art of Nature: Plein Air Art Show and Sale will be held April 30 and May 1. Visitors will be able to watch some artists as they finish their pieces.
“Nature has always been an inspiration to artists, making the ENC the perfect place to showcase art featuring nature’s scenic beauty and rich diversity,” ENC Executive Director Bo Glover said. “We’re especially excited that pieces painted at the ENC and at our new location, the ENC Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary, will be on exhibit.”
