Fans attending the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival attendees will not be seeing Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, in its Sunday lineup for both weekends, according to reports.

The news broke Monday morning, not many hours after he won two Grammy awards but was not seen in attendance at the ceremony.

The festival is set to take place April 15-17 and April 22-24 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, with Harry Styles and Billie Eilish as the other two headliners.

Response to the news by music fans ranged from being unsurprised to disappointment, but also support for the decision.

With less than two weeks remaining before the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival begins, the scramble is on for a replacement. Or is it?

Perhaps someone else on the lineup could take over the headlining spot. 21 Savage? Big Sean? Megan Thee Stallion? Doja Cat? Swedish House Mafia?
