THE GAME: In his first spring outing for the Dodgers, Craig Kimbrel gave up hits to the first four batters he faced, including back-to-back home runs in a 10-2 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Saturday afternoon at Camelback Ranch in Glendale.

PITCHING REPORT: Acquired in a trade with the Chicago White Sox on Friday, Kimbrel gave up a double, back-to-back home runs and a single before striking out the next batter. He was removed after throwing 19 pitches. … Starter Clayton Kershaw struck out four of the first five batters he faced, throwing 20 strikes in 24 pitches to get through the first two innings. A walk led to a run in the third when Austin Slater had an RBI double. Kershaw pitched into the fifth inning, allowing that one run on three hits while striking out six. He threw 57 pitches. … Left-hander Alex Vesia retired just one of the three batters he faced in the sixth inning, giving up a walk and a bunt single.
