The math for National Pi Day hasn’t been as good in recent years as it used to be, but it will be possible to get deals on pizza and pie on Monday, March 14.
Pi is what mathematicians call the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, making it appropriate to indulge in round foods on Pi Day.
That date is designated Pi Day in honor of the first three digits of pi, 3.14.
Here are some chains in the Southern California area that have announced Pi Day deals. Check your local restaurants for details.
Pizza
Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza: Rewards members can get one 11-inch pizza for $3.14 at participating U.S. locations, according to the Pasadena-based chain’s Pi Day 2022 web page. They will receive their reward through the Blaze app. It will be valid March 14-31. blazepizza.com.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: Dine-in guests can get a mini one-topping pizza for $3.14 on March 14, according to a news release.
Fresh Brothers: Purchase any medium, large or extra-large pizza at any location except LAX and get a one-topping medium pizza for just $3.14 on March 14, according to a press release. freshbrothers.com.
Mountain Mike’s: The chain is offering a small, one-topping pizza for $3.14 plus tax at participating locations. This deal can only be accessed through the app and must be applied at checkout, according to a news release. There’s a limit of one per customer. mountainmikespizza.com
Pieology Pizzeria: On March 14, Pie Life Reward members will get double points for their app purchases. pieology.com
Pitfire Pizza: The chain will offer a $3.14 mini-mini margherita pizza for $3.14 until 3:14 p.m. on Monday, according to a news release.
