The overall winner will be announced on Friday, March 25.

Landon White, San Dimas: Landon White, the Saints’ sophomore infielder, is off to a great start batting .417 and was key in last week’s two-game sweep over Charter Oak to open the Valle Vista league. White doubled home both runs in the Saints’ 2-0 victory over Charter Oak on Wednesday. Two days later, White belted a home run during their late-inning 12-2 rout over the Chargers to go to 2-0 in league.

Myles Patton, Millikan: Patton pitched a complete game in Millikan’s 7-3 comeback win against Lakewood on March 16. Patton, who threw 109 pitches, also scored a run and went 4-4 at the plate, including a double and RBI single. The 6-foot-3 LHP has signed two play DI college baseball at Long Beach State University.

Frank Camarillo, Moreno Valley: Camarillo, who has signed with UC Santa Barbara, went the distance and struck out a career-high 15 batters as the Vikings defeated Valley View 4-3 to take sole possession of first place in the Sunbelt League. Camarillo also went 3 for 4 with two RBIs in a 16-1 win over Rancho Verde earlier in the week. For the season, Camarillo is 4-0 with a 1.81 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 27 innings. He is batting .432 and is tied for the team lead with 17 RBIs.

Alex Rohm, Mira Costa: Rohm opened Bay League play with a strong performance against Peninsula. The senior right-hander allowed one run on two hits and struck out nine in Mira Costa’s 5-1 win.

Casey Borba, Orange Lutheran: He was 5 for 9 with two home runs and six RBIs as the Lancers swept Servite in three games in the Trinity League. Borba, a third baseman who committed to Texas, leads the Lancers in RBIs (eight) and walks (eight) and has hit two home runs. He has struck out only four times in 39 plate appearances. “His plate discipline is better than it was last year,” said Orange Lutheran coach Eric Borba, Casey’s father. “He’s a lot more patient at the plate.”

Andrew Citron, Harvard-Westlake: Citron showed his versatility in Harvard-Westlake’s three-game sweep of Loyola last week. He was 3 for 3 with a double in the opener, threw two innings and had two strikeouts in the second game,  and was 2 for 4 with an RBI Friday. Citron is committed to Georgetown.
