Graveside services for Al Walin are Monday at 10 a.m. at Good Shepard Cemetery in Huntington Beach.

Walin was at Magnolia High School for 32 years. He was a teacher and boys basketball coach there. He played basketball at the University of Nebraska where he played against Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson.

He died Feb. 25 at age 82. The basketball court at Magnolia is named “Coach Al Walin Court.”

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Greenbrook Clubhouse following the service Monday at 18222 Santa Joanana, Fountain Valley.

A visitation is Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Dilday Chapel on Beach Blvd. in Huntington Beach.
