Rain showers will force Knott’s Berry Farm to close early after Six Flags Magic Mountain threw in the towel before the day even started after looking at the forecast.
Knott’s will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, March 28 due to inclement weather, according to the Buena Park theme park’s official Twitter account. The Knott’s California Marketplace outdoor shopping mall will remain open until 8 p.m.
Magic Mountain remained closed all day on Monday due to inclement weather, according to the park’s official social media accounts. Pre-purchased tickets for the Valencia amusement park are valid throughout 2022.
Rain was falling steadily across Orange County just after noon on Monday when Knott’s sent the closure message via social media and email to passholders. By 3 p.m., sunny skies had returned with forecasts of additional showers after 7 p.m.
Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Universal Studios Hollywood, SeaWorld San Diego and Legoland California remained open despite the rain showers throughout Southern California.
