The long-running Newport Beach Jazz Festival will return in 2022 and it’s taking over Hyatt Regency Newport Beach June 3-5.
Marion Meadows and Alex Bugnon will kick things off on June 3 with an intimate 1,000-capacity VIP concert at the Hyatt’s Back Bay Amphitheatre.
Festivities officially begin with CeeLo Green doing a tribute to James Brown on June 4 along with sets from Eric Benét, Peter White, Vincent Ingala, Morgan James, Kim Scott, Four80East and DJ Shell.
Jazz keyboardist Brian Culbertson will top the bill on June 5 with earlier turns from Brian McKnight, Marcus Miller, DW3, Lindsey Webster & Adam Hawley, Phil Denny and Derek Bordeaux.

The main festival will be held on the Back Bay Golf Course and feature two stages, an international food court, vendor village and several VIP options.
Single-day passes for June 4 or 5 are $125 for general admission and $225 for VIP; Two-day general admission passes are $200; Three-day VIP weekend passes, including the June 3 performances, are $425. All passes are available at hyattconcerts.com.
