A man in his 20s was shot and killed in a residential area of Aliso Viejo Thursday night, March 17, and deputies were looking for the shooter, authorities said.
Orange County sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Via Jacinto and Via San Miguel, near Moulton Parkway, just before midnight on a report of shots fired and found the man with a gunshot wound outside of a home on Via Jacinto, spokeswoman Carrie Braun said.
The man died about 12:15 a.m., Friday, Braun said. His identity was not publicly released by officials pending notification of his relatives.
Further information was not immediately available and the investigation was ongoing.
