In two Cactus League starts, Heaney has allowed nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings. … Left-hander Garrett Cleavinger replaced Heaney in the fourth inning and gave up Robert’s second home run. … Left-hander Caleb Ferguson allowed two runs on four hits in his one inning. … Right-hander Yency Almonte was the Dodgers’ most effective pitcher of the game. He allowed a single, walked a batter and hit a batter in two scoreless innings. … Reyes Moronta and Nick Robertson each pitched a 1-2-3 inning.
HITTING REPORT: Mookie Betts was 1 for 2 with a single in his second Cactus League start. … Freddie Freeman had a single in three at-bats and is 4 for 11 (.364) with a home run in his first four games.
DEFENSE REPORT: Playing third base for the first time since joining the Dodgers, Hanser Alberto saved at least one run with a sprawling, backhanded play on Yoan Moncada’s hard ground ball down the line. Alberto made the stop and threw Moncada out at first base from his knees.
