PITCHING REPORT: Right-hander Tony Gonsolin cruised through three perfect innings, retiring all nine Rockies batters he faced on only 23 pitches. Gonsolin struck out four of the first six then retired the side in the third inning on five pitches. … Left-hander Tyler Anderson saw his first game action since joining the Dodgers. He gave up a run and three hits in his three innings while striking out seven. … Caleb Ferguson and Alex Vesia combined to give up two runs in the seventh inning. … Reyes Moronta gave up three runs on two home runs in the ninth inning.

HITTING REPORT: The Dodgers had eight extra-base hits in the game – three home runs and five doubles. … Edwin Rios continued his hot spring, reaching base three times on a bloop RBI double, a walk and a two-run home run. … AJ Pollock and Eddy Alvarez each hit a solo home run. … Rios and Alvarez hit their home runs back-to-back in the sixth inning.
