The Cal State Fullerton men’s basketball team will get a chance to end Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski’s career in the NCAA Tournament. The Titans (21-10) are the No. 15 seed in West Region and will travel to Greenville, South Carolina, to face No. 2 seed Duke (28-6) on Friday.
Cal State Fullerton qualified with a 72-71 win over Long Beach State on Saturday night. Duke’s Krzysewski plans to retire at this season’s end.
If Cal State Fullerton pulls off the upset, it will face the winner of No. 7 Michigan State and No. 10 Davidson on Sunday.
