For the first time, the official White House ornament was unveiled during an event on the West Coast.
The design chosen by the White House Historical Association for 2022 was revealed during a Presidents Day celebration at the Nixon Presidential Library & Museum in Yorba Linda. And several presidents helped … well at least several presidential impersonators did.
The historical actors are always a favorite feature of the annual celebration.
Nixon Library officials said the unveiling of the ornament – there has been a unique design each of the last 40 years – “kicks off a year-long partnership that will illuminate the Nixons’ White House legacy through educational programming and onsite events.”
The ornament is now on sale, including at the Nixon Library, and watch nixonfoundation.org for more upcoming events.
