A man was killed and a woman injured in a shooting at a Fullerton home Thursday night, Feb. 10, authorities said.
Fullerton police were called to the 1300 block of East Wilshire Avenue about 9:20 p.m. on a report of a shooting and found a 26-year-old man dead inside the home, Sgt. Brandon Clyde said.
A 45-year-old woman was found with a gunshot wound to her leg, Clyde said. Paramedics took her to a trauma center.
Detectives spoke with several witnesses, Clyde said, but information about what led to the shooting was not immediately available.
The residential block includes two apartment complexes and several duplexes just south of Chapman Avenue.
The man’s identity was not publicly disclosed by police pending notification of his relatives.
