Mia’s story: Mia is a spunky sweetheart! She has lots of life left and is ready for it to be her best. She’s curious, playful and learning how to walk nicely on a leash. She needs a family with plenty of patience to show her the world, and if they have a well-adjusted small dog, that would be a bonus. She can by shy and nervous at first, but once she knows the lay of the land she loves to prance around. Her occasional bark means, “Pick me up and hold me, or I will feel like I’m lost.” She is up to date on vaccinations and has had a full veterinary checkup. She would do best in a home without small children and would be the perfect pet for a senior. Mia is blind, but that doesn’t stop her getting around at all.
