Orange County boys basketball’s top performers last week:

Carlo Billings, Foothill, 5-11, Jr. G: He scored 15 points with seven rebounds as the Knights defeated Palm Springs in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 2AA playoffs. Billings scored a team-high 19 points with six rebounds in a second-round win over Marina.

Cooper Bladow, El Dorado, 6-1, Jr., G: Bladow’s consistent play showed up again in the 2A playoffs. He scored 13 points in a first-round win over Portola and scored 15 with three 3-pointers in an overtime win over Crescenta Valley.

Chol Deng, Fairmont Prep, 6-5, Sr., G: Deng scored 25 points in a Division 1 win over Murrieta Valley. He scored 22 points with eight rebounds and five blocked shots in the Huskies’ 64-62 loss to St. John Bosco in the second round.

Miguel Ortega, Garden Grove, 6-2, Sr., F: He scored 14 points in a first-round win over Golden Valley and followed with 27 points in the Argonauts’ win over Alhambra in the second round of the 4AA playoffs.

Rockwell Reynolds, Santa Margarita, 6-9, Jr., F: Reynolds scored 20 points when the Eagles defeated Los Alamitos in a Division 1 first-round game. He scored 16 when they lost to St. Anthony in the second round.
