ANAHEIM — Police Wednesday sought the public’s help to identify a hit-and-run driver who left a woman moderately injured in Anaheim.
The woman was walking Feb. 10 in a marked crosswalk in the area of West La Palma Avenue and Brookhurst Street, near the 5 Freeway, when she was struck by a Jeep being driven westbound on La Palma Avenue, according to the Anaheim Police Department.
The driver fled the scene following the collision, and the woman was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
The Jeep was described as being army or camouflage green, and appeared to be an off-road vehicle, according to police. The driver was described as a man in his late 20s to early 30s with a bald head and full beard.
