Members of the Friends of Canyon Hills Library are inviting the community to peruse through the wide selection of books that will be on display during its two-day Winter Flash Used Book Sale.
Proceeds from the sale support the various ways the Friends enhances programs and services at the library for the community to enjoy. Some of these have included increasing book and magazine collections, purchasing books for the monthly book discussions and new electronic equipment, as well as helping to offset the cost of a variety of library programs.
The sale will be noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 20 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 21 at the branch.

Learn about health services for seniors
Senior citizens may find the Anaheim Library’s upcoming virtual “Keeping Healthy with Medicare Preventative Services” presentation particularly informative and helpful.
The virtual event is scheduled from noon on Jan. 24, and there is no cost to attend.
The online workshop will offer insight into various preventative treatment services that are available to seniors, which are covered by Medicare. Many may be unaware of what is available.
